Card data & images
Card names, oracle text, type lines, set data, and images come from Scryfall, read from their public bulk data on each ingest. Card images are hotlinked directly from Scryfall's CDN — we do not store, mirror, or modify them.
Prices
Price data comes from MTGJSON (TCGplayer, Card Kingdom, and Cardmarket retail figures). All prices are indicative, not quotes, and are labeled with the date they were captured. See the methodology for how the price index and movers are computed.
Tournament & metagame data
Tournament results and metagame context draw on mtgtop8 (PREM), the MTGO Premodern Challenge series, and the Duress Crew Premodern Data Analysis Project, cited per page where used.
Format authority
The Premodern banlist and format rules are set by Martin Berlin at premodernmagic.com, which we treat as canonical and link as the source of truth.
